as these would be applicable for any discrepancies should it
arise in our business dealing with you.
THE CONTRACT:
When any booking is made and it is accepted by us either by
email, fax or letter of confirmation, it constitutes a contract
between you and Almond Tours and Travels, Kodaikanal. All bookings
are taken on the condition that you accept these terms and conditions.
High Season TARIFF may be applicable
during:-
- Premium weekends of the year. *
- Festival Period. *
- All National Holidays like Central & State Government
Holidays of Any State. *
- (Please Note: * - Special High
Season Tariff rates will be notified to you, if changes are
made locally here in Kodai, at the time of your booking request)
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
To block the Vehicle and/or Hotels for the dates requested you
will have to make a minimum payment of 50% of your total package
(for Package Tours & Hotel reservations), or 75% (if only
Transportation is requested), in advance to us. If you are unable
to pay the advance Hotel Reservation requested by you will be
blocked ONLY provisionally and will be allotted to you subject
to availability of rooms. For Transportation, please note, we
will not send vehicles for pick up unless an advance amount
(usually 75% of the agreed amount) is paid by you as otherwise
it is not viable for us to send a vehicle from this hill station
to do the necessary pick ups. Priority in best rooms/vehicles
would be always reserved for those who pay the advance well
ahead of your travel schedule.
Guests are requested to go through our website
regarding Our Services, Vehicle Tariff, Package Deals, Hotel
Reservation, Other Information, etc, before making the payment.
VALIDITY
Prices of Vehicle Tariff, Hotel Tariffs and Other Package Deals
vary according to ‘Local Seasons’ hence prices are
subject to change now and then without prior notice. However,
we assure you that once a deal is mutually finalized there will
not be any change in the amount agreed upon.
TAXES
Tourists will have to pay taxes on the published tariff as per
Government rules/notification.
SITE ACCURACY
This ‘Site’ is updated frequently. Therefore, the
tariff, photos, description of services, other information etc
are accurate to our knowledge. However, any errors, omission
or commission, if there be, is not intentional. The photos shown
in the website may vary due to various natural changes. We reserve
the right to change/modify the information on this website anytime,
before or after your booking due to any events beyond our control.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation or Change in Arrival/Departure Dates must be intimated
to us in writing and have our acknowledgment for the same.
Such cancellation / changes in date will attract the following
retention charges:
21 days before the Arrival
date
100% Refund except for
a minimum of Rs.100/- (Admn. Fee) as retention charges.
15 to 20 days before the Arrival date
15% of the advance + Rs. 100/- will
be kept as retention charge
7 to 14 days before the arrival date
50% of the advance will be kept as
retention charge
3 to 6 days before the Arrival date
75% of the advance will be kept as
retention charge
Less than 3 days of the arrival date
Full amount of the advance will be
kept as retention charge
REFUND
No refund for early checkouts (from the proposed duration of
stay), and/or other changes made by the client during their
stay is usually permitted. However, The Company (Almond Tours
& Travels) reserves the right to determine the quantum of
refund payable in case of cancellation/no show/changes etc and
the decision of the Company on the quantum of refund shall be
final. Refunds (if any) for amendment and/or cancellations will
be paid directly to the Clients by way of Cheque or cash transfer
and sometimes this could take 14 days to process such refunds.
ARBITRATION
For any claims, disputes or discrepancy of any nature, the same
will be resolved by a Sole Arbitrator to be nominated by the
Company. The arbitration shall be in held in Kodaikanal, and
the Arbitrator’s decision will be final.
PAYMENT MODE
Payment can be made by way of DD favoring "ALMOND
TOURS & TRAVELS” payable at Kodaikanal,
or cash can be remitted at any of State Bank of India’s
branches across India.
