once bears came to drink water! A popular tourist spot especially
during rainy season when the falls is gorgeous.

Silver Cascade
A lovely waterfall that is on the way to/from Kodaikanal

for children to see the water gushing out of this beautiful cascade
from about 200 feet high. Many stand under and enjoy a bath and
the riveting experience. |

Pambar Falls
Once beautiful this falls has lost much of its charm
and is nice mainly during rainy season. It is about 5 Km from
the town and is on the way to Pillar Rock.

the tourist who throng at Coaker’s walk to help them view

Shenbaganur Museum
This museum is about 7 KM from the Town and is maintained
by the Sacred Heart College – Theological Seminary founded
in 1895. It is specially committed to archaeological remains and
the flora and fauna of this beautiful hill station. This museum
is famous for one of the best Orchidaceous in the country and
has a collection of about 300 variety of orchids.

Dolmen Circle
This site has put Kodaikanal firmly on the anthropology
map. It is believed that remains of pre-historic presence dating
back to 5000 BC are buried here. |

Thalaiyar Falls
This spectacular waterfall which is one of the
highest in India, is best viewed during the rainy season. It can
be viewed either on the way up to Kodaikanal (about 12 KM from
the beginning of the ghat road) or on the way down, 36 KM from
Kodaikanal, as it is in the Ghat road. The scenic beauty at this
point is also breath-taking and almost every vehicle stops here
to admire the Creation. |

Berijam Lake
This ‘Natural Lake’ of Kodaikanal is so beautiful
and serene that you would think you are in another world! The
forest here has been preserved and if you are lucky to get permission
to visit this place then don’t ever miss it for anything
else. This Lake is about 25 KM from the Town and it would be an
‘amazing experience’ for you if you get a chance to
visit this spot.

This pretty park is often overshadowed by the famous
Bryant Park. However, this is a beautiful place and its serenity
should make an impact on those who are used to the busy bustling

The Lake
This captivating star-shaped man made lake is the focal
point of Kodaikanal and is in the heart of the Town. Surrounded

Coaker's Walk
Just a kilometer from the lake is the ‘Coaker’s

‘Cine Shooting’. You must not miss having a picnic
lunch here while you admire and enjoy the numerous pine trees
